I spent 24 whirlwind hours in San Francisco with this amazing couple who are having their destination wedding in Tucson, AZ this year! I have always wanted to photograph a San Francisco engagement session so I worked closely with M and C to hit all the high points! We spent about 10 hours photographing! Our first stop was coffee, of course, as soon as they picked me up at the airport. It was about 1PM so from there we went straight to Potrero Hill, a trendy part of San Francisco with killer views from the very top of the hills that make the city so notorious. I loved being able to see the San Francisco skyline in their engagement photos and tried to really get some interactive moments here!
Our second stop was back at their apartment, not far from there, where they changed clothes and we had a quick moment with Pikachu (ok, not the real Pikachu, but a balloon left over from C’s surprise birthday party that M threw for him the previous night). I always love to incorporate fun and personal things into engagement sessions, and this seemed like the perfect inclusion!
From there we had an early dinner (or late lunch) and then headed to our next stop – The Palace of Fine Arts. I had never been to this iconic landmark before, but I knew when I saw photos of it that engagement photos at the Palace of Fine Arts would be absolutely beautiful – and it was!
And then it was time to head over to the Golden Gate bridge for sunset. Click here to check out those photos in Part 2 of this San Francisco Engagement session!
