Hilton El Conquistador Last Territory Wedding {Michelle & Christopher}

Michelle & Christopher’s November wedding at the Last Territory at the Hilton el Conquistador Resort in Tucson was the. perfect. day. The weather was incredible, the setting was gorgeous, and their guests came from all over the country to Tucson to celebrate with them.

I love how they put personal touches on their day.
Christopher wore vintage cuff links that belonged to his grandfather (they happen to also share the same initials). Their trusted family and friends participated in the ceremony. The reception featured fun games and a festive atmosphere that was so very Tucson. The reception tables were identified with home made table signs (photos of the couple doing fun things throughout their relationship) and instead of a cake, they had egg tarts from Gee’s Garden in Tucson as a nod to Michelle’s Chinese heritage. Speaking of, her parents decorated the getting ready room with some vibrant and bright paper lanterns and door treatments to brighten up the space. And because they are just so cool, they even put a top hat on the scary stuffed bear that guards the inside of the banquet room (and of course took photos with it). I mean, how fun are they?

The star of the dance floor might actually have been the small owl that showed up in the rafters and presided over the entire party. The couple happen to love owls, so they took it as a sign of good luck.

Christopher and Michelle’s Last Territory wedding was truly a destination wedding shared with all their family and friends. Even the couple flew in from San Francisco where they live (and where I was lucky enough to photograph them for their engagement session https://jacquelynnbuck.com/everafters/mc-san-francisco-engagement-session-part-1/ and https://jacquelynnbuck.com/everafters/san-francisco-engagement-session/) for the wedding. As day turned into night, they danced amidst the mountains and under the starry skies of Tucson, and began their forever after.
