Tanque Verde Guest Ranch Wedding

Jennifer and Ryan couldn’t have chosen a better spring day for their gorgeous Tucson wedding at the Tanque Verde Ranch and Corpus Christi Parish. Everything went exactly as planned! From the perfect details and flowers to Jennifer’s natural glow – it was the quintessential Tucson wedding. This couple went together like peas and carrots – truly they were meant to be. From their Superstition mountain engagement session to the day for the “I dos,” I was honored to be along for the journey.

Their colors matched the Tucson desert wedding vibe with burnt orange, Eucalyptus green, and soft cream. Jennifer’s dress was stunning – all lace with a beautiful back – and was completed by her floor length veil which made for some great photos when the wind picked up later. They didn’t have their ceremony at Tanque Verde Ranch but they did both get ready there and had the reception there as well.

The couple chose not to do a first look, but they did write each other notes and held hands while turned away from one another, praying with each other before the ceremony. It was really sweet!

The couple are devout Catholics, so they wanted to have their ceremony at the modern rustic Corpus Christi Parish, and it was the perfect choice! This Tucson Catholic Church is one of the prettiest in town, both inside and out, with it’s natural wood and unrivaled mountain views. I made to to get photos of the couple and their bridal party in and around the church grounds after the ceremony. But we were saving sunset photos for Tanque Verde Ranch!

Once we got the the Tucson Wedding Venue we were able to really get some amazing photos, of the couple as well as of each of them individually, using Tucson desert backdrops and the natural vignettes at Tanque Verde Ranch. The wind really started to pick up and the couple got a little silly – with Ryan dancing around with Jennifer’s veil which had come loose in a gust. It was hilarious!

Tanya from In Full Bloom did an amazing job with the flowers inside the reception area at the Ranch. She lined the tables down the middle and adorned the centers with beautiful off white and orange sherbet colored flowers mixed with Eucalyptus and scattered candles. It made everything look soft and fresh. The high point at the reception though was the choreographed dance that Ryan and Jennifer did – it was amazing! They worked so hard on it! And I couldn’t help but tear up a little during the father-daughter dance. Both dad and Jennifer were crying by the end – happy tears of course!

It was an incredible spring Tucson wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch. Beautiful couple, beautiful venue, beautiful love.
