This gorgeous engagement session had it all – love, laughter, and light. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to work with couples who truly are joyful together…willing to be sweet, silly, and sometimes serious.

It’s so important to me to help couples feel comfortable – and engaged (no pun intended) – in front of the camera. I have tons of tips and, with gentle coaching and guidance, I definitely feel like I bring out the best in my clients. And then sometimes no guidance is required as they gently and lovingly interact in moments that truly speak to who they are to each other.

Clothing is always something we discuss ahead before an engagement session, and a clothing change is an option (though one we definitely have to plan for in terms of timing, location and light). We also discuss clothing, hair, makeup and general style and vibe.

Sunset is one of the best times of day for engagement sessions, in my opinion, but that also means planning for location and travel time between locations if the couple selects more than one.
