E+B {lakeside engagement session}

This engagement session had all the perfect things – sunshine, water, trees, mountains…love. Nothing was missing. Summer can be hit or miss for photographing comfortably, but I personally feel like I want to do more summer photo sessions because there is a quality of light and extra softness in the air that makes for something magical.  Speaking of magical, this first image …wow. We were walking around the lake, heading back to the car, and I saw the sun lighting up this scene…like something from a fairy tale.

Anytime I can do a photo session by the water, I am a happy photographer! Some of my favorite water-front places include Huntington Beach pier, Newport Beach pier, and the Laguna Beach cliffs. But lakes and mountains? Yes, please!
